Granulari Lauzet is back! / La nuova Granulari Lauzet

Do you remember Granulari Lauzet? Was a small company, located nearby a river south of Cretaz town. GL worked stones and gravel to supply limestone and ballast several industries.
On Cretaz Railway layout, Granulari Lauzet has been increased its size, though its two spures are still linked with Cretaz station.
Ground has been modeled according well knowk technique from Joe Fugate with fine ballast and limestone collected directly from Cogne coal mines. Buildings have been scratchbuilt from Walther stirene kit. Details will follow.
Vi ricordate la Granulari Lauzet? Era una piccola azienda situata sulla sponda del fiume a sud di Cretaz. Estraeva sabbia e ghiaia e riforniva numerose industrie del settore.
Sul nascente layout, la nuova Granulari Lauzet si è ingrandita, sebbene sia sempre collegata alla stazione di Cretaz con due tronchini.
Il terreno intorno è stato modellato secondo le tecniche di Joe Fugate, aggiungendo poi pietrisco setacciato direttamente dalle cave di Cogne. L'edificio principale è un'elaborazione del kit Walthers. Altri particolari saranno aggiunti in seguito.

 

 

 

The Operators

While I'm busy with some brass model-kit building, my son Federico (5) likes to operate some trains on Cretaz Railway layout. He's now very well skilled to use tethered Lokmaus commands and likes both passenger and freight trains.

Mentre sono impegnato nella costruzione di qualche kit, mio figlio Federico (5 anni) si diverte a manovrare i treni sul plastico. Ormai conosce bene il palmare Lokmaus, e si diletta nel pilotare treni passeggeri e merci.
